What’s the difference between the Avi and Zeno strollers?

The Avi is a dedicated running stroller, while the Zeno is an innovative multisport stroller offering multiple sports modes: (normal) running stroller, hands-free running stroller, or bike-trailer, giving you the freedom to alternate between modes quickly and easily.

Which one is best suited to me?

If you’re someone who enjoys or wants to start running, you can’t go wrong with the Avi. Lightweight and streamlined, the Avi is the perfect running (and walking!) companion in your local leafy park or urban environment.

However, if you’re someone who likes to mix things up and alternate between running and cycling, or would like to experience natural running experience with the hands-free mode, the Zeno is ideal. Easily switch between push-running, hands-free running and cycling modes to make the most of this exceptional sports companion. What’s more, it allows both you and your partner to exercise as you wish – whether it be cycling or running, and only takes seconds to switch modes.

How can I optimize my running form with a stroller?

For the best running experience and form, keep your body in an upright position. With your head up, focus your gaze straight ahead and avoid looking down at your feet. Be careful not to slouch or hunch over the pram (while tempting during a long run, this can have a negative effect on your running form).

When push-running, you can also make use of the Avi and Zeno’s handbrakes to align the stroller speed with your own pace for an optimum running form. Designed for one-hand steering, enjoy a more natural swinging motion while running. To train both sides equally, we recommend alternating which arm you use for steering and which you swing. Whether you have one or both hands on the handlebar, ensure you always keep the tether strap attached to your wrist.

Both the Avi and Zeno feature adjustable handlebars, enabling you to find the perfect fit for your running gait. The ideal handlebar height is level with the height of your navel.

You can’t get a more natural running experience than with the Zeno’s innovative hands-free running mode. With no limits to your performance, your child can see you as you run. While the different weight distribution of ‘towing’ you child may feel a little strange at first, the padded waist harness helps balance the weight of your child so you can focus on your natural stride and arm motions.

Do I need any extra accessories?

The Zeno comes in push-running (stroller) mode. If you want to experience the exhilarating freedom of hands-free or bike trailer modes, you can purchase the Hands-Free Running Kit and/or Cycling Kit separately. This means that you don’t pay extra for features you won’t use.

We also offer a 2-in-1 phone and cupholder compatible with the Cybex Sports range – an essential accessory to keep hydrated and your phone safe while you’re out and about.

Is cleaning the strollers easy?

Yes! Getting out and about feels amazing, so don’t let a little dirt deter you – the fabric covers are gentle machine washable at 30°C.
