Description

With its ground-breaking ergonomic design, the innovative Cybex Cloud Q rear-facing capsule can be easily converted to a near-flat recline position (outside of the car) similar to a Pram bassinet.
The Cybex Cloud Q is the only reclining capsule in Australia!

The Cloud Q capsule embodies the core safety DNA synonymous with the Cybex brand.
The Telescopic Linear Side-impact Protection minimises impact in the occurrence of a collision, redirecting the shock to the capsule shell rather than your baby’s precious body. Complete with height-adjustable headrest, ergonomic carry handle and large retractable UPF50+ canopy, the Cloud Q offers the ultimate protection and peace of mind for you and your child.

FAQ

WARRANTY

All Cybex products come with a 2 year warranty. The Warranty is valid when supplied with a proof of purchase. PLEASE KEEP PROOF OF PURCHASE FOR THE WARRANTY.

WHAT PRAM BRANDS ARE COMPATIBLE WITH THE CYBEX CLOUD Q CAPSULE?

The Cybex Cloud Q is compatible with the Cybex Priam, Mios, Eezy S, GB Pockit Plus, GB Qbit as well as prams from other brands, including:  Joolz, Bugaboo, Uppababy, Nuna,  iCandy peach and more using Maxi Cosi/Cybex adapters, check with your pram company for compatibility as they manufacture and test the adapters for the car capsules to suit their prams.

CAR COMPATIBILITY

In Australia, the Cybex Cloud Q with the seat belt installation is universally compatible with all cars fitted with a long enough seat belt. Most Cybex stockist will be happy to take the Infant carrier out to your car to check that it fits. After your Baby capsule is securely installed rear facing, you may move the front vehicle seat back just until contact is made with the child restraint car seat.

CAN MY INFANT SIT IN THE CAR SEAT IN A FORWARD-FACING POSITION?

No. Your infant’s spine and neck muscles have not yet developed sufficiently to cope with heavier strains. In the event of an accident, the child’s head is propelled forward with a very high force. The child’s spine and neck muscles are not strong enough to withhold these forces. In rear-facing seats, the infant car seat works like a protective shield and protects the child’s sensitive head and neck.

IS IT OK TO KEEP USING A CAR SEAT AFTER AN ACCIDENT?

We at CYBEX strongly recommend that you replace a seat after any kind of accident. This is because tiny hairline cracks, which may not be visible to the naked eyes, can appear in the plastic parts of a seat after an accident. These cracks can pose an increased risk to safety.

HOW DO I KNOW WHEN MY CHILD HAS GROWN OUT OF THE INFANT CAR SEAT?

We generally advise against switching from an infant car seat (birth to approx. 12 months) to a toddler seat prematurely. Even if your baby's feet protrude outside the infant car seat or your baby can already sit, your child has not necessarily grown out of the seat. However, the CYBEX infant car seat is equipped with a level indicator (sticker on the seat cover) which tells you if your infant car seat is too small for your child. If the headrest is in the highest position and your baby's shoulders are protruding above the level indicator on the top edge of the seat, it is time to change the seat, as it no longer affords sufficient protection to the vulnerable neck and head area.

DO BOTH LSPS HAVE TO BE PULLED OUT FOR SAFETY REASONS?

To provide the best possible protection, the telescopic L.S.P. protector nearest the door should be extended as far as possible. It is designed with two settings. If in the longest setting, the L.S.P. touches the vehicle door, then the first setting must be used instead. When the seat is installed in the middle seat, the linear side-impact protection (L.S.P. System) should not be pulled out.

MY CAR SEAT IS FAULTY, HOW CAN I GET IT REPAIRED/INSPECTED?

Please send us some images/video of the issue you are experiencing to support@cybex-online.com.au. Along with this, please send a copy of your purchase receipt. From there we will provide a resolution.

WHERE CAN I GET REPLACEMENT PARTS FOR MY PRODUCT?

Please contact support@cybex-online.com.au with a description and image of what you require and we'll respond accordingly.

WHAT KIND OF CLOTHING SHOULD MY CHILD WEAR WHEN SEATED IN THE CAR SEAT?

Thick clothing prevents the harness from lying snugly against the body. This incorrect belt positioning could result in the harness slipping off the shoulder. For this reason, your child should wear everyday clothing. Thick clothing such as winter jackets should be avoided where possible. Once your child has been positioned in the seat, he/she can be covered with an extra blanket for warmth.

CAN THE CLOUD Q COVER BE REMOVED AND WASHED?

The fabric cover can be removed and is machine washable at max. 30° C

WHAT AGE/WEIGHT CAN YOU USE THE CLOUD Q UNTIL?

The Cloud Q is suitable from newborn up to 13kg, approximately around 12 -15 months.
